Turn any image into a custom, installable Codex skin.
CodexSkin Store creates a custom, installable Codex skin from any image for both macOS and Windows. It’s built to help people personalize their Codex Desktop workspace by adding a chosen image and matching colors/translucent surfaces—without replacing native interactive controls.
The workflow stays private: image processing and package generation run entirely within the local browser, so artwork never leaves the user’s device. Users can preview how their image affects Home, Task, and Diff readability before downloading an installer ZIP. Generated packages include Install and Restore shortcuts to make it straightforward to safe-test new aesthetics and revert back.
Upload a permitted image
The user drops in a photo or artwork they own or have permission to use.
Preview in Codex layouts
They preview crop, dimming, and readability across Home, Task, and Diff before downloading anything.
Build and install ZIP locally
They choose macOS or Windows to generate a complete ZIP, then use Install and Restore shortcuts as needed.
Codex Desktop users who want to personalize the visual theme using their own images—especially designers and developers who care about readability and reversible changes. It’s also suited to people who prefer local, privacy-first generation without Git or manual configuration.
